I love how the flowers of Provence are reflected in its fabrics with their charming, colorful florals. I have rolls of these iconic fabrics left from decorating projects. They’re so pretty, I knew a few snippets of those had to be in this bouquet. I am also drawn to the art of Provençal parfumerie Fragonard, which beautifully captures the sunny spirit of Provence. I have one of its textiles featuring a whimsical bouquet of flowers, fruit AND seashells, which inspired me to add a few seashells (and creatures—who doesn’t love a seahorse?) to this piece. And why not? After all, still lifes have included seashells for centuries--although perhaps not fuchsia ones!
Each print is part of a limited edition of 50 and is lightly embellished with gold pen by the artist. Prints are signed and numbered by the artist.
Available in 14 in. x 20 in. (image size: 12 in. x 18 in., with a 1 inch margin all around).
